- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Though Dr. Brodell is a very nice person, and hopefully a better doctor than he seems in our situation, I have had a very frightening experience under his care. For almost 10 years I have had an itchy, scaley sore on my finger that would not heal...I have gone to Dr. Brodell at least 3 different times to have him check it. Each time - he told me I had dermatitus. No further discussion. Now - while visiting my daughter in California - she insisted I have it checked by a dermatologist here. I did so - he took a biopsy immediately and just advised me that it is stage 2 squamous cell skin cancer. I am having MOHS surgery in a week to remove it here in California. Dr. Brodell never even biopsied the lesion in all the years I went to him. Stage 2!!! Why would a doctor not even biopsy a lesion after so many years??? As a cancer crusader - why was he not more concerned? I respect his desire to raise money to fight skin cancer - but needless to say - I'll be changing doctors. Please - stand strong if you feel your health issue is not being handled appropriately.August 01, 2017by A Google User
